Day 1 NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport - Gangatok
Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra (IXB) Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a ZiniGo Executive, who will assist you in boarding your vehicle for the transfer to Gangtok. Upon reaching Gangtok, proceed with check-in at your hotel. The evening is free for you to relax and unwind. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 2 Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir
After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to Tsomgo Lake, which has an average depth of 50 feet. Spend a few serene hours appreciating the pristine natural beauty of the lake and its surrounding scenic vistas. The journey will continue to the revered Baba Mandir, a significant holy site. After your visit, return to Gangtok. Overnight stay at the hotel in Gangtok.
Note: Documents required for visiting Tsomgo Lake and New Baba Mandir:
Two passport-sized photographs ,a photocopy of a valid photo ID proof (accepted IDs: Passport, Driving License, or Voter ID; PAN Card and Aadhar Card are not accepted). For children below 18 years, a Birth Certificate, School ID, or College ID is mandatory. Please ensure you carry the original documents while traveling.
In the event of a landslide or any other unforeseen circumstances that may cause Tsomgo Lake to be closed, alternate sightseeing arrangements will be provided.
Optional Visit -You have the option to visit Nathula Pass (Indo-China Border) by paying an additional fee. Please note that the visit is subject to permit approval and is not guaranteed. Additionally, Nathula Pass remains closed on Mondays and Tuesdays
Day 3 Gangtok - Half day city tour - Darjeeling
After breakfast, proceed for a half-day sightseeing tour, which includes visits to Jhakri Waterfalls, Dorji Chorten, the Research Institute of Tibetology (closed on Sundays), the Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom (closed on Sundays), and the vibrant Flower Show.
In the afternoon, continue your journey to Darjeeling. Upon arrival, the evening is free for relaxation or self-guided activities. You may choose to explore the local surroundings at your own pace.Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 4 Darjeeling Full Day Sightseeing with Tiger Hill
Early in the morning, around 3:45 AM, drive to Tiger Hill to witness the sunrise over Kanchenjunga Peak (subject to clear weather). On the way back, visit the Ghoom Monastery, Peace Memorial, and Batasia Loop.
Return to the hotel for breakfast and some time to freshen up. After breakfast, embark on a city tour, which includes visits to the Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursdays), the Ropeway (tickets available on a direct payment basis), Tensing Gumpo Rock, the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (closed on Sundays), the Tea Estate (outer view), the Natural History Museum (closed on Sundays), and the Peace Pagoda.
Return to the hotel for some rest. In the evening, enjoy free time for a leisurely walk around Mall Road. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 5 Darjeeling - Kalimpong
After breakfast, proceed to Kalimpong. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. In the afternoon, embark on a city tour, which includes visits to Mangal Dham, Deolo Hills, Dr. Graham’s Home, Golf Garden, Durpin Dara Hill, and Pine View Nursery. After the tour, return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Kalimpong.
Day 6 Kalimpong - NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport
After enjoying a hearty breakfast at the hotel, it will be time to check out. You will be assisted with your transfer to NJP Railway Station or (IXB) Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey. We hope you had a memorable stay and look forward to welcoming you again in the future.
