Schedule Details
Day 1 Arrive in NJP railway station/Bagdogra airport - Gangtok
On arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Bagdogra Airport, you will be met by a local representative who will assist you to board your vehicle to Gangtok. Check in to the hotel and overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 2 Gangtok - Full day excursion to Tsomgo Lake
This morning after breakfast, proceed for a full day excursion to Tsomgo Lake which is 35 Kms from Gangtok at an altitude of 12,400 feet. The lake derives its waters from melting snow off the surrounding mountains. Legends say that lamas could forecast the future by studying the color of the lake’s waters. Also visit Baba Mandir. Return back to the hotel. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 3 Gangtok - Lachung
Day 4 Lachung - Excursion to Yumthang Valley
Early Morning drive to Yumthang Valley is known as Valley of Flowers (12,000 ft / 26 Kms / 1 1⁄2 Hrs. one way). Yumthang is the summer grazing ground of the yaks and winter playgrounds of yetis. On the way back, visit the Hot Spring, which is considered to have medicinal properties. Later, return back to the hotel. Overnight stay at a hotel in Lachung.
Day 5 Lachung - Gangtok
After breakfast, transfer to Gangtok (5,500 Ft.). On the way visit Bhim Nala water fall & Twin water fall. On arrival, check-in to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 6 Gangtok - Pelling
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Pelling. On arrival check-in to your hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight stay at Pelling.
Day 7 Pelling - Full Day Sightseeing
After breakfast, start for a full day sightseeing. 1st Half tour - Darap village, Rimbi water Falls, Khecheopalri Lake & Khangchendzongha waterfalls. In the afternoon, the 2nd half tour - Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse Ruins, New Helipad Ground. Overnight stay at Pelling.
Day 8 Pelling - Departure
After breakfast it’s time to check out. Transfer to NJP Railway Station / (IXB) Bagdogra Airport for your onward flight or back home.
