Day 1 Arrive Bangalore - Transfer to Ooty

Your journey begins upon arrival in Bangalore, where you will be greeted by our representative. From there, embark on a scenic drive to Ooty, nestled in the Nilgiri Hills. Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel or resort and unwind. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore Ooty, shop locally, or relax and soak in the serene ambiance.Overnight stay in Ooty.

Day 2 Ooty Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, begin your exploration of Ooty with a visit to the scenic Ooty Lake for a peaceful boat ride. Next, visit the Government Botanical Gardens, renowned for its stunning collection of exotic plants and flowers. Later, embark on a ride aboard the Nilgiri Mountain Railway (on direct payment basis), a UNESCO World Heritage Site offering panoramic views of the Nilgiri Hills and lush valleys.Overnight stay in Ooty.

Day 3 Ooty - Excursion to Coonoor - Ooty

On the third day, take a scenic drive to Coonoor, a charming hill station near Ooty. Visit Sim's Park, a well-maintained botanical garden, followed by a stop at Dolphin's Nose Viewpoint for breathtaking views of the Nilgiri Hills and Catherine Falls. Explore Coonoor’s Tea Gardens, learning about the tea-making process and sampling fresh tea. Return to Ooty in the evening and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, perhaps exploring or trying local cuisine.Overnight stay in Ooty.

Day 4 Ooty - Departure to Bangalore

After breakfast, bid farewell to the serene landscapes of Ooty as you depart for Bangalore. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the airport or your onward destination, marking the conclusion of your memorable Ooty and Coonoor excursion..

Day 5 Paro - Tiger’s Nest Hike

After an early breakfast, drive to the base of Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), one of Bhutan’s most sacred sites. Guru Padmasambhava is believed to have meditated here after arriving on a flying tigress. The current structure, built in the 15th century, was restored after a fire in 1998. The 2-hour hike offers scenic views, with a tea point offering a great view of the monastery after 1 hour. Continue for another 45 minutes to the second viewpoint.Next, visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest temples, dating back to the 7th century. Renovated in the 19th and 20th centuries, it’s considered a holy site. A notable feature is the orange tree that bears fruit year-round, regardless of the season.

Note: For those who prefer not to undertake the Tiger’s Nest Trek, an alternative option is an excursion to Chele La Pass, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. (at an additional cost)  

Return back to the hotel. Overnight stay in Paro.

Day 6 Departure from Paro

After breakfast, bid farewell to the captivating kingdom of Bhutan as you are transferred to Paro International Airport for your onward journey. Depart with cherished memories of your cultural discoveries, stunning landscapes, and spiritual experiences in Bhutan, the Land of the Thunder Dragon.
